Wild and Wonderful!

We left last Tuesday night to go see Mama and Connie in Baton Rouge, mother’s care giver was off to go somewhere and we decided to just take a road trip!  We then decided to leave Tuesday night, went to Vicksburg and spent the night, Mother loves casino’s, we stayed at Diamond Jacks, we got a wheel chair and took her to play, she played twenty dollars and we went to the room, got out PJ’s on and she said are we ready, I said for what, she said to go play, I said we have on our PJ’s, she said that would be ok to wear, they are warm and look nice she was not finished playing needless to say we went to bed, got up and drove on to Baton Rouge, the drive was so nice and peaceful, beautiful drive!  When mother saw Mama she said she did not know she was going to see her and was so happy!Connie went all out made a huge pot of Gumbo and a homemade Coconut cake Chocolate pie too!  They took us to a place to eat that had Turtle soup mother and I ate it, it was real good! We both like it.  Mother quit smoking during this time, I am so grateful!! I know it will help her to feel better and for sure breath better!!  We had a fun fun fun time, went and saw Mike the LSU Tiger, who did put a hurt on the Hogs, but I wore my Razorback shirt proudly  so thankful we went, mother loved every minute of our visit!  So did Steve and I!
